When I first decided to go into Real Estate, I knew that I didn’t want to be everything to everyone. What I wanted was this:

  • A 10-mile driving radius

  • Complete control over my schedule (as a wife and mom of three, this was non-negotiable)

  • Time to pursue my passion of giving back to the local community

  • The option to stay in my yoga pants on a Friday and binge-watch Billions all day if I darn well please

  • Clients who are in a similar stage of life as me and feel more like family friends (bonus if they love extra salty margaritas and mexican food as much as I do!), because I knew I’d be able to serve them best

  • To be an integral part of my new community (I literally wrote the book on Gig Harbor)

  • Fun money (lots of it) #noshameinmygame

  • The flexibility and income to travel for work and pleasure

I designed my business intentionally to help me achieve all of the above goals. Every single thing I do to market my business ties back to one, some, or all of these goals, from the family-friendly content I post on my blog, to the price points and neighborhoods I serve, to the kid-friendly community events I host.

It didn’t happen overnight (I had to kiss a few frogs and make a few compromises along the way in the early days). But it did happen pretty fast.
